Two years ago, Kevin Gates was looking to be the biggest breakout star, in the game. Following years of success, on the mixtape level, he finally broke out with radio hits. First, he had “I Don’t Get Tired,” in early 2015, but 2016’s “2 Phones” put him on the map.
Kevin Gates dominated the late winter, into the early spring. Since then, he has been behind bars, and unable to make the kind of impact he was poised to. Instead, he is marking his return to a game that has drastically changed, since he departed.
But, after being locked up, for over a year, just getting out, and getting to his family, namely his daughter, is most-important. Kevin Gates is still going to get out here and do his thing, though. His Instagram post more than shows this.
