During this time of year, tensions are high. Heck, given the way things have gone, it seems like tensions are always high. As a result, there are always reports of people hurting other people. Seriously, it’s beginning to look like being a fast food worker is one of America’s most dangerous jobs. A 2019 video of a McDonalds employee being attacked went viral, earlier this week. Now, a KFC worker wound up the victim of a shooting, simply because the restaurant was out of corn.

In situations, such as these, everyone seems to have an opinion. However, no one seems to ever have a solution. When it comes to fast food workers, most are working short staffed. As a result, the people cooking the food are also the ones taking the orders. Meanwhile, the people who have stopped in for a quick meal end up growing frustrated with the long wait times. Making matters worse, the orders are normally wrong.

In St. Louis, Missouri, a KFC employee ended up in a life threatening position. The employee wound up being the victim of a shooting. All of this began when the worker told the customer the restaurant was out of corn. After being told there was no corn, the customer began arguing with the employee over the intercom. When the person drove up to the drive thru window with a gun. After that, the employee came outside, where opened fire on the employee, and then drove off.

The victim is currently in the hospital and is in critical, but stable, condition.
