Kidd Kidd calls G-Unit reunion “monumental” on Instagram [PHOTO]
Ten years ago, it was hard to not be a G-Unit fan, because the whole world just watched 50 Cent take over the game the year before. The story 50 Cent told to the world was very interesting and inspiring. His career took off in the biggest way possible and then he put his friends on.
But, 50 Cent’s ambition was not matched by his G-Unit cohorts, nor the artists he signed to the label. Because of this, 50 Cent dropped virtually everyone from his roster. This also coincided with 50 Cent’s souring relationship with Interscope Records and he went independent, signing Kidd Kidd.
In 2011, Kidd Kidd signed to G-Unit Records and the deal truly came to life in 2013, with his music taking off. Since then, Kidd Kidd witnessed 50 Cent bring Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, and Young Buck back. Now, they and Kidd Kidd are the group and he called the reunion “monumental” on his Instagram.
