Killer Mike arrested after winning three Grammys

On Sunday night, Killer Mike had a legendary evening for himself. He took him three Grammys, following the massive success he had in 2023, with his new “Michael” album. As a result, at the Grammys, he took home awards for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, & Best Rap Performance. Best Rap Performance was for Mike’s “Scientists & Engineers,” which also featured fellow Atlanta natives Future, Andre 3000, and Eryn Allen Kane.

However, Killer Mike quickly ran into a very unfortunate situation, shortly after winning his three Grammys. He was seen being arrested by police and being escorted out of Crypto.com Arena, per Chris Gardner of the Hollywood Reporter. As of now, it’s still unclear what the reason for this arrest was. But, it appears that Mike has already been released, due to his latest Instagram story posts.

Killer Mike’s Michael album contained 18 tracks in total, which contained additional appearances from CeeLo Green, Mozzy, 2 Chainz, Young Nudy, Young Thug, and much more. As a result, the album went on to see a number 58 debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.
