Back on January 5, it was reported by Page Six that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian would finally be getting a divorce. Sources close to the situation stated that divorce was “imminent” and that Kardashian was simply “done.” The report also added how West is tired of her family and their ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians‘ reality show on E!. Kardashian has since hired divorce attorney, Laura Wasser.
KUWTK will be airing its final season in 2021 and West and Kardashian’s marital issues will be full on display, according to Page Six. The divorce process will also be on display for the world to see. These issues will be shown on the final episodes of the 20th season. A premiere date has not been made official yet.
“The Kardashians intend to go out with a bang. They’ve filmed Kim discussing her marriage problems. But everybody involved is on a nondisclosure agreement, because the finale won’t screen until later in 2021.”
Sources close to the outlet also added that West and Kardashian are in talks regarding a settlement on splitting properties. West is also all good with the divorce and that supposedly, “Kim’s side” is trying to make it seem that she’s sick of him when it’s actually the other way around. Her family was also very against West’s presidential run in 2020.
“[Kanye] seems to be enjoying the brouhaha surrounding his divorce. He is quite familiar with what the Kardashian public relations machine is capable of, and thinks it’s funny that her team is blaming his presidential run on the marriage disintegration.”
Things appeared to really go downhill after West’s presidential rally in Charleston, SC last July. There, he explained how he and Kardashian discussed aborting their daughter, North, in 2012. West also made the claim that Harriet Tubman didn’t free slaves. Later that month, West dissed Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, on Twitter. He called them “white supremacists” and Jenner “Kris Jong-un.”
West and Kardashian ended up getting married in 2014 after initially starting to date in 2012. They went on to have four children together: 7-year-old daughter North, 5-year-old son Saint, 3-year old daughter Chicago, and 19-month-old son, Psalm.
