Celebrity photographer, Marcus Hyde, is getting exposed for being inappropriate with models on multiple occasions.
One model tells her story of how he used alcohol to try to coerce her into having sex with him. Another model claims he shot nude photos of her and once she declined a date with him, he kept the photos. Another model exposed their DM’s to each other where he told her if she didn’t see him nude photos of herself, then he would charge her $2,000 for photos. If she did send the nude photos, then her photo shoot would have been free.
Celebrities like Shay Mitchell, are calling out his disgusting behavior, and telling women to stick together against people like this.
There has been no word on the situation yet from his celebrity client, Kim Kardashian. His other client, Ariana Grande, has taken to her instagram account to say:
“Dear models/artists in LA / anywhere, I have just read some shocking and really heartbreaking stories. i hate that this is a conversation. please do not shoot with photographers who make you uncomfortable or make you feel like you need to take your clothing off if you don’t want to.
If you want to, sick. but if you don’t, please don’t. if they tell you you have to pay more money if you’re clothed that’s f–ked and i’m sorry that has happened to you. i promise there are so many respectful, nice, talented photographers out there.”
It’s disgusting how long he got away with treating women like this. I’m glad that women are coming forward to tell their stories so that this won’t happen again. As for his career…it needs to be over.
