Kim Kardashian has built an empire over the last 17 years, as she’s been in the spotlight, since 2006. Over the last three years, her SKIMS shapwear brand has exploded in popularity as well, and has been a billion dollar business. Loungewear products such as pajamas and sweatpants are also available.

In April 2021, SKIMS was originally said to be worth $1.6 billion. According to Bloomberg, it has since doubled, and is valued at $3.2 billion. Its brand increased sales also creased by by 90%, to about $275 million. This number will also hit $400 million, at some point in 2022.

SKIMS was also part of a financing round, where it had a $240 evaluation, in cash. This was revealed by SKIMS Chief Executive Officer Jens Grede.

“This latest round will allow us to focus on bringing more innovations and solutions to our customers and become even more of a trusted resource for them,” said Kardashian to Bloomberg.

Kardashian also recently scored a huge collaboration for SKIMS. This involves her partnership with Team USA, for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. This comes after fitting athletes with SKIMS products for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, back in 2021. 2021 was also closed out with Kardashian partnering with Rihanna’s Fenty brand.

“I’m thrilled that SKIMS and Team USA are continuing to partner for these Winter Games. Our collection of lounge and sleepwear was designed with these inspiring women in mind, and I’m so proud that Olympic and Paralympic athletes will be wearing SKIMS again during their downtime!” Kardashian said in a press release.
