Towards the end of 2017, King Combs began focusing in on his music, finally putting out some real records. Working with many big names, it was the lead-up to 90s Baby, the mixtape he dropped last year. Early in 2018, he dropped “Love You Better,” featuring Chris Brown.

King Combs made a big impact on the game, with the release of his single, assisted by Chris Brown. The record was heavily influenced by the classic “Touch Me, Tease Me” by Case, sampling Schooly D’s 1985 single, “P.S.K. (What Does It Mean?).” His song was a 2018 classic.

Since his summer 2018 run, King Combs has endured some of the toughest hardship for a young man to experience. When the fall began, his mother, Kim Porter, died. Earlier this week, King Combs visited NYC’s Power 105.1, talking to Angie Martinez about losing his mother, and keeping the Bad Boy legacy alive.
