It’s hard to believe it was just last year when Klay Thompson was shooting the lights out. As the Golden State Warriors were clearly on their way to a championship, Klay Thompson became a star. Every game, almost, he broke another NBA record for shooting.
By the time the Warriors reached the NBA Finals, there were questions of Klay Thompson being better than Steph Curry. In the end, Curry would remain the MVP leader, but GSW didn’t repeat. Last season saw a quiet Klay Thompson season.
This season sees Klay Thompson reduced to third fiddle behind summer acquisition, Kevin Durant. Fans believe Durant is leaving Klay without a real position on the floor, which is causing his poor shooting. Because of this, in between jokes, they are advising the Warriors to trade Klay Thompson.
