When Klay Thompson plays like this, it’s always a good thing, especially against the Spurs. Two years ago, Kevin Durant signed with the Warriors and many felt Klay Thompson would have to go. Their first game was a 30 point blowout loss, at home, to San Antonio.
In that game, Klay Thompson had a pretty bad game, but later showed how well he still fits. Tonight, Klay Thompson was the Warriors’ scoring leader. Known for being one half of the “Splash Brothers,” Klay had the dunk of the night, on Davis Bertans, tonight.
Klay Thompson spoke with the press, during the postgame conference, following the game. The reporters asked Klay Thompson about his dunk, to which he said he had space, before talking about Zaza Pachulia, and their dunk contest. He would also discuss the Warriors’ bench and David West.
