Three teams in three years, yeah Dwight Howard did that, but it has become something everybody does now. After a couple of rough Orlando Magic seasons, Dwight Howard left for the Los Angeles Lakers and now he has left after one rough season with them. There is one NBA player who doesn’t do free agency, Kobe Bryant.
On the other hand, Dwight Howard does and he is looking for the right team to land him an NBA championship. In recent years, the Houston Rockets have done well and adding James Harden to the mix was a power move. Nobody can blame the Rockets or Dwight Howard for linking up for a chance to compete for a title.
Either way, Kobe Bryant had high hopes for Dwight Howard as a Laker. The first season did not go as planned and Dwight Howard is a Rocket. Kobe Bryant took to his Instagram earlier this afternoon to respond to the news. So much for the opportunity to see Kobe Bryant with another center in the later stages of his career, it didn’t happen.
