Back in 2010, LeBron James showed he has no issues with abandoning a franchise.
Sports history was made with Cleveland’s over-the-top backlash against LeBron James, but the question is if Miami will do the same. LeBron James came to the Miami Heat and they have not missed an NBA Finals appearance since. Two titles in two years hasn’t been done since Kobe Bryant a couple of years back.
The media tried hyping a Kobe/LeBron rivalry that didn’t quite pan out. With the Lakers rebuilding, LeBron James is a rumored free agent they may pursue. Kobe Bryant spoke on this “rivalry” at his basketball camp and he said competitors do not want to increase another’s ring count, but pointed out how Wade has increased.
With all that in mind, Kobe Bryant said it is not too much of a stretch to think LeBron James could join the Lakers in 2014.
