Kodak Black is a proven star in the game. He even inspired Cardi B’s breakout hit single that made her a star. Unfortunately, Kodak Black has had trouble staying out of trouble. This afternoon, Kodak was back in court. Thankfully, he learned he was not going back to jail. In spite of his troubles, Kodak is working to better himself. Recently, he announced he was going to college. When he was in court, he had another viral moment. Of all things, he asked the judge for a Jolly Rancher, while in court.
Kodak Black first made noise, late in 2015. Throughout 2015, Kodak Black had several music videos go viral on YouTube. As a result, Atlantic Records signed the Pompano Beach rapper roughly a year later, in 2016. While Kodak was well-known, he did not have a radio hit until 2017. During the summer of 2017, Kodak Black’s “Tunnel Vision” became a radio mainstay. Since 2017, Kodak has consistently kept a hit record on the radio.
Kodak Black has consistently been in legal trouble since 2016. There were times when he would go right back to jail after being free. Several times, Kodak has said he was going to go on the straight and narrow, focusing on doing music, and staying out of trouble. To that end, Kodak was in court, where he learned what his future would hold. When he learned he was not going back to jail, Kodak was obviously thrilled. In the heat of the moment, typical Kodak, he asked the judge if she had a Jolly Rancher.
