Kodak Black Pleads Guilty In Gun Case Involving Falsifying Information On Applications; Faces A Maximum Of 10 Years In Prison But Could Get Less Due To Being Cooperative

Kodak Black has been locked up since being taken into custody at Rolling Loud in Miami for falsifying information on gun applications. He was in court today for a change of plea hearing and after recently pleading not guilty, decided to reverse his decision, according to TMZ. He pled guilty to two counts of knowingly making a false and fictitious written statement.

The Florida rapper will be sentenced on November 13. The maximum sentence Kodak can get is 10 years with three years of supervised release. This might not be the case in the end though as prosecutors say he’s been very cooperative and a possibility of a lighter sentence could happen.

In addition to this gun case, Kodak is dealing with a sexual assault case in South Carolina. The incident supposedly happened at a hotel in 2016. Additional jail time could be a huge possibility if he ends up being found guilty or even if he enters a plea.
