Many rapper success stories have come from Chicago, over the past decade. Unfortunately, KTS Dre will not be one of those. This week, he was released from prison, and immediately shot 64 times and killed, as he was leaving the Cook County Jail.
KTS Dre had local beef, with some other Chicago-area rappers. According to reports, and social media claims, these people were targeting him. Some even said the rapper was warned to leave Chicago, but he wasn’t given that chance.
Immediately after he was released from the Cook County Jail, KTS Dre was shot 64 times and killed. While Dre was the intended target, his 60-year-old mother, and a local activist were also shot. Their injuries are non life-threatening, as his mother vented to Facebook about now having to plan for a funeral.
