Kyle Lowry, Toronto Raptors hand LeBron’s #Cavs first loss of 2016 #NBAPlayoffs

Kyle Lowry RaptorsIronically, LeBron James has become a footnote, this NBA season, after dominating every facet of the league for the past decade. In last year’s league Finals, it was clear Steph Curry is the new face of the league. As he led the Golden State Warriors to an NBA-best 73 wins, it is clearer.

The irony sets in about LeBron James, as the NBA Playoffs have seen struggles from Golden State. Although they are in the final four, injuries led to them dropping games against Houston and Portland. Meanwhile, other headlines were stolen by San Antonio, whose 67 win squad is out.

While all of this has gone on, LeBron James silently led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 10-0 playoff start. The only other team in NBA Playoff history to go 10-0 in the postseason were the Los Angeles Lakers of 2001 and the 2012 San Antonio Spurs. But, their winning streak has ended, with Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, and Bismack Biyombo shutting Cleveland down 99-84.
