Kyrie Irving offers a public apology to Kehlani on Instagram and makes it clear that she did not cheat on him
Last summer, Kyrie Irving ticked off Cleveland Cavaliers fans, when he asked for a trade. Apparently, Irving wanted to be out of LeBron James’ shadow, and he was traded to the Boston Celtics. Despite Boston giving up Isaiah Thomas, the trade worked for them.
Unfortunately, injury prevented Kyrie Irving from playing in the playoffs, where he would have likely led the Celtics to a series win over his former team. Two years prior, Kyrie Irving hit the game-winning shot to win the championship. It happened months after he and Kehlani split.
There has been an ongoing narrative about Kyrie Irving and Kehlani breaking up. Many have assumed that Kehlani cheated on Kyrie, something he spoke out and denied.
