Most people are discovering LaKeith Stanfield just here in the past two months. He has risen to fame playing ‘Darius’ on “Atlanta,” the breakout FX series produced by Donald Glover, Jr. The fans of the show have come to love Darius and his sayings.
Last summer, however, many remember Darius from playing the character of Snoop Dogg on Straight Outta Compton. The movie broke box office records and put Stanfield on the map. As Darius on “Atlanta,” the man is not disappointing.
LaKeith Stanfield stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” speaking with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. When the interview began, LaKeith Stanfield talked about trying out for the Snoop Dogg role and sitting beside a guy who looked just like Snoop. Ironically, LaKeith Stanfield revealed he wasn’t a big Snoop fan growing up and then he discussed “Atlanta.”
