Lala Anthony becomes new creative director at Airbnb

Over the past decade, Airbnb has been dominating as a platform which is known for serving as an alternative to hotels. Furthermore, many of these properties are located in renters’ homes, as customers can rent an entire property for themselves, or share it with someone else. Moreover, many of these Airbnb properties are used in hotels, as well. Airbnb was initially founded in 2007.

Meanwhile, Airbnb has just announced a major partnership with Lala Anthony. As a result, she has been named as the company’s creative director.

“As a trailblazer in the entertainment industry, La La Anthony is partnering with Airbnb as a Creative Advisor bringing decades of experience with her,” said Airbnb in a statement .”La La will help scale Airbnb’s talent and entertainment partnerships and create new business opportunities that connect them with passionate communities.”

Airbnb also went on to reveal that Lala will lead strategic alignment and relationships with key entertainment partners, including celebrities, influencers, studios, production companies, and more to increase and sustain diverse representation. In addition to this, she will also be responsible for incubating new products and programs, that provide unique ways for partners to authentically reach their engaged audiences.

Lala’s first Airbnb project is set to be La La Land, which is labeled as a “unique and stylish listing” in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which has been carefully designed and perfected by La La to “host her favorite kind of trip: a getaway with besties.” The first three, one-night stays (for up to 5 guests) in La La Land will take place on February 2, 3 and 4 for a very low price of $7. The number 7 is a nod to the day that Lala’s son, Kiyan, was born.
