Lance Reddick’s cause of death reportedly listed as Ischemic Heart Disease and Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease

Lance Reddick passed away due to heart and artery disease 

On March 17, “John Wick” and “The Wire” actor Lance Reddick suddenly passed away, at the young age of 60. At the time, Reddick was found at his Studio City, CA home. However, no cause of death was listed, as an investigation remained ongoing.

As a result, a the official cause of death for Reddick has now been revealed to the public. According to TMZ, the certificate states that it’s as a result of Ischemic Heart Disease and Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease. The actor was also reportedly cremated, shortly after his passing.

More information also surfaced regarding how Reddick was located, as he was seen passed out in his backyard. His wife Stephanie went on to call 911, as he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

In the aftermath of Reddick’s passing, fans of his across social media paid homage to him, and the cast of “John Wick 4” went on to wear blue ribbons at the film’s premiere, as a way to pay homage to Reddick. In John Wick 4, he played the role of Charon, an employee at a hotel where he would assist John Wick. However, Charon would go on to quickly be killed at the beginning of the film.
