Larry Hoover Jr Says His Father is Concerned About Upcoming Drake and Kanye West “Free Larry Hoover” Benefit Concert, Due to How He May Be Viewed, as Well as His Case [VIDEO]

On December 9, Kanye West and Drake will be happy their “Free Larry Hoover” benefit concert, in Los Angeles. This will be held at the LA Memorial Coliseum, which holds over 78,400 people. This was announced last month, after Kanye and Drake squashed their 3-year-old feud.

Hoover has been in prison since the 70s, over charges of investigation of conspiracy, extortion, money laundering, and running a continuing criminal enterprise. Now, his son, Larry Hoover Jr, is speaking on the upcoming Drake and Kanye concert, for his father.

Hoover Jr was on the Drea O Show, and revealed that his father has some concerns, about the upcoming benefit concert. This mostly come from how this will affect his legal case, while in prison. Hoover Sr feels that he could be viewed negatively, but at the same time, knows that the influence of him being shown, will be in a positive light.

“Yeah, he’s aware of it and he has to be concerned because he doesn’t know how it may affect him,” Hoover Jr. explained. “He’s concerned that it may affect him negatively because it’s showing his influence, but his influence is positive. Him being an influential person, it just won’t disappear. I didn’t think it would happen, but it was possible, but not probable.”

The benefit concert will be available to be streamed at IMAX theaters, as well as on Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music App, and Amazon Music Twitch channel.
