Latto announces her 777 radio station
The young women of rap aren’t slowing down anytime soon. Latto is the latest female MC to expand her influence beyond the stage to the radio. Earlier this week Latto took to Instagram to announce her 777 Radio station on apple music. The “Big Energy” star, will use her radio station to connect personally with fans while highlighting her favorite songs. Teasing her new station via Instagram, Latto dressed as a flight attendant to promote her new platform. The name for the radio station is inspired by her successful second album of the same name.
Latto has had a remarkable run in music for 2022 and 2023. Becoming a new face for female southern rap, she’s already received multiple awards for her music. In addition to receiving praise for her work, her collaboration list is next level. Having worked with Trina, Chloe Bailey, Yung Miami, GloRilla and recently Lola Brooke, she’s all about supporting women in music.
Adding a radio station to her platform is a major power move. In a press release for the station, Latto stated she also wants to highlight new artist and those who deserve more support. Apple Music will air 777 Radio bi-weekly on Thursdays at 2PM EST, starting March 30th. Check out the promotion video via Latto’s Instagram below.
