Latto claps back at fan who claimed that she’s an “industry plant”

On Tuesday night, Latto trended after she and Christina Aguilera teased an upcoming collaboration. This was on Twitter/X, as both agreed that it was time to make an announcement to their fans. However, they haven’t publicly unveiled what their official plans are, just yet.

Meanwhile, Latto is now clapping back at trolls again, on Twitter. On Wednesday, one attempted to claim that the Atlanta rapper is an “industry plant.” Many use this term for artists who seemingly have very quick success in the industry, and are actually “planted” by industry executives and receive financial backing.

As a result, Latto is emphasizing how hard she’s worked in the industry, over the years. Furthermore, she added all the steps that she took to win, such as passing out mixtapes and open mics and talent shows.

2023 has also been very kind to Latto, as she’s created consistent hits. These include singes such as “Lottery” featuring Lu Kala and “Put It On Da Floor Again” featuring Cardi B. Moreover, in the summer, Latto was featured on Jung Kook’s Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Seven” single. Last month, Latto’s latest single was released, which is “Issa Party,” featuring Buzzing Atlanta rapper BabyDrill.
