Mulatto changed her stage name to Latto this week as she began a new era of her career. This is after receiving backlash since last year over her name being offensive to biracial people. Today, she also released a new single under the new Latto name titled “The Biggest.”
The Biggest has been receiving a lot of positive reviews but, Latto revealed some news today as to why she didn’t promote the single much. She took to Twitter to reveal that she went through a “health scare” which put her in the ER.
“Y’all don’t even know I been in the ER & wasn’t able to promote “The Biggest” myself but I’m feeling better & seeing all the support feels amazing ❤️🎰 Thanks for hearing me out and accepting my apology!”
Soon, a follower accused Latto of actually getting her body done. Latto then explained how that was far from the truth and that her health was an issue.
“I actually was in the ER for a serious health scare.. I’m open about my surgeries this had nothing to do w that.”
Hopefully, Latto is doing much better with her health. At the same time, she’s doing well with this new single and this could be a great start info this new chapter of her career with the stage name change.
