130 Latto songs leak on Twitter
On Monday, Latto became another huge trending topic on Twitter. This was due to 130 of her unreleased songs leaking online. Many of these were reference tracks that Latto recorded, prior to other artists eventually using them.
However, Latto still hasn’t addressed this leak. This comes over a month after her highly publicized feud with Nicki Minaj, on Twitter. The two went back and forth, after Nicki didn’t like that Latto’s “Big Energy” was placed in Grammy rap category submissions, but not Nicki’s “Super Freaky Girl“ single. Many assume that Nicki fans may have contributed to this leak, due to that back and forth beef.
Despite this leak, Latto continues to win big. Last week, she was nominated for two 2023 Grammys. These were in the categories of Best New Artist and Best Melodic Performance.
These nominations comes after Latto released her sophomore album, “777,” this past spring. This went on to debut 15, on the Billboard 200 chart. This was led by the smash hit single “Big Energy,” as that went on to include a remix with the legendary DJ Khaled and Mariah Carey. 777 also included collaborations with Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, Kodak Black, and more.
