Latto’s 2021 airport gun case gets dismissed

Latto continues to be one of the biggest artists in the industry, while also recently dealing with a gun case that’s been hovering over her, since 2021. However, that has now been dropped, according to TMZ.

Latto initially had a loaded gun at LAX in May 2021. At the time, the Atlanta rapper was charged with carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a concealed weapon. At LAX, Latto was flying back home to Atlanta. As a result, she went on to start a 12-month diversion program in April 2022.

Therefore, Latto’s case was dismissed on Tuesday, after finally meeting all of the requirements, including the diversion program. These included a gun & safety course, 120 hours of community service, and avoiding being around any firearms. Latto initially rapped about this case on her recent featured verse on Mellow Buckz’s new “Boom Pt.2” single.

“I am extremely pleased with the outcome and glad my client can move forward with her flourishing career,” said Latto’s attorney Jamal Tooson, in a statement to TMZ.

Meanwhile, Latto has had a very soldi start to 2023, regarding her music. In February, she released her “Lottery” single, featuring Lu Kala. Last week, she also put out her “Put It On Da Floor” single. On the same day, Latto appeared on TiaCorine’s “FreakyT” remix.
