Laura Govan is getting her PHd and will never return to Basketball Wives

In 2011, Laura Govan was introduced to the world via “Basketball Wives LA.” At the time, she and Gilbert Arenas were together. After spending two seasons on the show, Laura and her sister, Gloria left the show. By 2014, Laura and Gilbert Arenas were in the process of a messy break up.

Laura Govan would leave “Basketball Wives,” but she remained on TV. In 2013, NeNe Leakes featured Laura Govan on her Bravo wedding special series. By 2015, Govan appeared in TV One’s “The Next 15,” alongside other former reality stars. Govan spoke to Hip-HopVibe.com about her reality TV career, in 2017.

Since appearing on “Marriage Boot Camp,” in 2019, Laura Govan has kept a low profile. Much of that can be explained by the lockdowns, quarantine, so on and so forth. But, when things opened back up, Laura Govan continued to be out of the spotlight. Last night, Laura Govan shared on her Instagram Live that she’s actually been working on getting her PHd. While she was Live, Laura Govan was asked if she would return to “Basketball Wives,” and Govan said she is never going back to that show.
