Lawyer in Young Thug trial tells the judge he’s cappin
Young Thug has had one of the most interesting runs in hip hop history. A mixtape rapper, Thug dropped “Stoner” and then became a mainstream star. Back then, Thugger was on Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad label. The song was released late in the summer of 2013. After that, the song became a hit in time for summer 2014. Ever since, Thug has become a bigger star. Last year, his run came to a halt with his abrupt arrest and RICO charge. Currently, he is on trial, and his attorney said the unthinkable to the judge.
Young Thug made himself one of the biggest rappers in the game. While the potential was always there, many didn’t see Thug as a star during the 2013-2014 period. Back then, there were a lot of rappers making noise. Aside from the obvious names like Migos and Rich The Kid, there was Skippa Da Flippa, Johnny Cinco, and K Camp making noise. Of those three guys, K Camp was the one who had the most success. However, Thug and Migos managed to stand the test of time.
Young Thug is currently facing life in prison. Instead of being credited as a businessman, his YSL label is accused of being a front for a street gang. Thug’s own lyrics have been used against him in trial. As a result, the emotions are high. This morning, Thug was back in front of the judge. During the discussion with the judge, Thugger’s lawyer openly expressed frustration. Not only did he accuse the judge of lying, he told him he was “cap.”
