The Charlotte Hornets aren’t a bad team, they’re far from it. But, when they play teams with LeBron James on the roster, bad things end up happening to them. In the Kemba Walker era, only one of those games ended with a Charlotte win and he didn’t even play that game.
Seeing how strong the Hornets were, last season, some sports outlets predicted another improvement. With Walker having his career year, some said the ceiling was a Conference Finals matchup with LeBron and the Cavs. Even after tonight, it’s possible, just not probable.
LeBron James has successfully led two different franchises to championships while in his prime. In that regard, dude has done something Michael Jordan never did. Of course, it came with much controversy and LeBron isn’t perfect in the finals, but fans say that doesn’t even matter.
With MJ’s team coming into his house, LeBron James filled the stat sheet, going for 44 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists. His fans say crown him now, because he always brings something extra for Jordan’s team.
