For seventeen years, LeBron James has been dominating teams, even as he gets older, his game remains dominant. Every now and again, some question if he’s still got it. When those questions arise, LeBron shows how he’s still a top five player.
This season, LeBron was on a tear, leading the Lakers’ redemption, after missing the playoffs, in his first year. Retooling, with Anthony Davis, the Lakers are the NBA’s best team. The playoffs saw them handle Portland, Houston, and Denver, before drawing the Heat.
In Game 5, the Miami Heat stunned the Los Angeles Lakers to force a Game 6, in a series most felt was a Lakers’ sweep. Doing his best to make sure it goes no further, LeBron James grabbed an early rebound, and went coast-to-coast on the Heat. The fans, meanwhile, crown him an “unstoppable beast,” for his efforts.
