LeBron James just signed a $154 million, four-year, deal with the Lakers and the Eastern Conference is now open for new champions… Fans on Twitter are stunned, FOUR YEARS! #Lakers #LakeShow

LeBron James signs with the LakersThis one really isn’t too much of a surprise, because it’s been hinted, for weeks, that LeBron James signs with the Lakers. That decision surprised a lot of people, because the Lakers are in the West. By LBJ going to a team like that, the NBA Finals is no guarantee for 2019.

In 2014, LeBron James returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers, leading them to their first playoff run, since 2010, when he left. Since returning to Cleveland, LeBron led them to the Finals every year. Each year, they played the Warriors, winning the 2016 title.

But, LeBron James’ Cavs went 1-8 against the Warriors, since that title run. It became evident that LeBron James was leaving and Stephen A. Smith even reported he tried to get Kevin Durant to join. Twitter is now shocked that LeBron James actually left the Eastern Conference, opening the door for Boston and Philly.

LeBron James signs with the Lakers and “FOUR YEARS” is trending on Twitter.
