It’s over for the Toronto Raptors, LeBron James made sure of that. In retrospect, the Raptors should have just fallen back and gotten one of the lower seeds. The Raptors are another team that overachieved in the regular season, no different than the Sixers.
What is different, though, is that DeMar DeRozan is an eight year veteran, while Ben Simmons is a rookie. This was the year that LeBron’s reign was going to end. To hear the Raptors tell it, they were going to end it, behind DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry.
LeBron James followed up his 45 point performance, in Game 2, with a 38 performance, in Game 3. After the game, LeGoat spoke with ESPN about his game-winning shot. Still giving the Raptors credit, LeBron said the Cavs can do better, and talked about the focus they need to win Game 4, to complete the sweep.
