When Damon Dash went on “The Breakfast Club,” he aired out everything and everyone. In addition to speaking on Jay-Z, their partnership, and being a “boss,” Damon Dash spoke on Lee Daniels. Currently, Lee Daniels is the man in Hollywood.
Lee Daniels once worked with Damon Dash on a movie in 2004, which was called The Woodsman. In need of financial backing, Lee Daniels received $2 million from Damon Dash, but Dash received nothing in return. This led to him filing a lawsuit against the “Empire” creator.
Recently, Lee Daniels responded to the ongoing situation, as Damon Dash is receiving a lot of media attention. Going to court, Lee Daniels and Damon Dash reached a settlement, as Dash was staking ownership in Daniels’ hits, The Butler, and “Empire.” Now, the two have worked out their differences and Damon Dash said he’s glad it’s over.
