Hip-Hop has just lost another icon, this week. This is Rico Wade, who was instrumental in becoming one of the biggest producers out of Atlanta, as well as working within the Dungeon Family, over the last 30 years. Moreover, Wade also collaborated with Outkast, TLC, and much more. Wade was only 52. However, his official cause of death has yet to be unveiled.
Furthermore, Rico Wade also helped co-cofound Organized Noize. This featured a group of producers, which included Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown. Organized Noize also helped startup the Dungeon Family, which included legends such as Andre 3000, Killer Mike, Future, Cee-Lo, Big Boi, and much more.
Killer Mike also went on to post a touching tribute to Rico Wade, to his Instagram feed. He posted multiple photos of him in the studio with Wade, as well as at various events.
“I don’t have the words to express my deep and profound sense of loss. I am Praying for your wife and Children. I am praying for the Wade family. I am praying for us all. I deeply appreciate your acceptance into The Dungeon Family, mentorship, Friendship and Brotherhood. Idk where I would be without ya’ll.
