Until the end of 2014, Safaree was a background player. He was best-known as Nicki Minaj’s boyfriend/fiancée. But, at the end of 2014, the two broke up and it has since been an awkward back-and-forth between the two.

Safaree expressed disappointment in Nicki Minaj, as she constantly flirted with Drake, Nas, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, and many others. He even did a song about her and Nas’ kiss. Since then, Safaree has seemingly moved on with Ms. Nikkii Baby.

In the latest season of “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” on VH1, Safaree has a role. He is going to be in Nikkii’s love triangle with Rosa Acosta, but his intro was an interview with Yesi Ortiz on Power 106. While he claimed he didn’t want to speak on Nicki Minaj, Safaree mentioned her several times, which caused Twitter to go in on him, for that and other reasons.
