When it comes to homosexual males, “Love & Hip Hop Miami” went more in-depth than any “Love & Hip Hop” franchise. The show cast openly gay rapper, Bobby Lytes, in a starring role. Plus, he is Trina’s first cousin, giving him interactions with her and Trick Daddy.

Bobby Lytes really became popular, not because of his sexuality, but because of his bars and reckless attitude. However, many fans were turned off with him fighting Jeffrey. Then, in the case of Malik, Jeffrey’s other man, people straight up didn’t like him.

Malik, in the eyes of many, is not being true to himself, as he identifies as gay, but it closeted, and uses gay slurs. During the reunion, this was brought up, as Malik officially dumped Jeffrey. The fans on Twitter got a good laugh at Jeff’s expense, over his treatment of Bobby, but dragged Malik for his comments.
