Eleven years ago, Jay-Z tackled racism on The Blueprint 3, on the track, “Off That,” with Drake. In that verse, he said “it’s 2010, not 1864,” but the battle of racism has been going on for centuries. Since 1964, the same discussions have been had.
With Jay-Z’s album now considered “old school” music, eleven years later, people are saying “it’s 2020 and we are not our ancestors.” But, the question truly is when will it all end. There is no clear answer, but there has been a ton of racism caught on camera, in 2020.
Lil AJ Dre is a popular YouTuber and he was filming at a location, when he encountered Paul Ng. This Asian businessman is apparently a racist, as Lil AJ Dre and his cameraman were verbally assaulted by him, capturing it all on tape. The man would tell them the place they visited was a “No N*gger Zone.”
