Over the weekend, Quality Control Music rapper, Lil Marlo, was reportedly shot and killed in his hometown of Atlanta. The shooting took place while he was on a highway. Since then, Quavo, Baby, QC CEO Pierre Thomas, and more have paid homage to him.

Baby posted out a tweet saying “Legends don’t die” and “When In the streets kno what comes with this s*it #longliveru.” He also addressed a rumor going around that Atlanta Police reportedly revealed that a $50,000 hit was put on Baby. In this process, Marlo was supposedly the wrong target and ended up getting killed.

Baby responded with emojis on Instagram under Akademiks’ post and said certain things aren’t supposed to be posted. On Twitter, the “We Paid” rapper added “If you f*cc wit me don’t post no weak ass fake news!” He went on to voice his displeasure for rumors spread on the Internet as he said he wouldn’t be online much if it wasn’t for his career.

Baby was very close with Marlo so as we all can imagine, he’s still grieving heavily. He doesn’t need false information to add on to the pain. Check out his posts addressing the hit claim below.
