Lil Baby debuts at number one in US with “It’s Only Me”
Last week, Lil Baby released his third studio album, “It’s Only Me.” This project was led by singles such as “Heyy” and “In A Minute.”
Baby gave fans 23 songs in total, as additional appearances included Young Thug, Gunna, EST Gee, Pooh Shiesty, and more. Listeners enjoyed the flows that Baby delivered on this project, as some were reminiscent of his 2020 “My Turn” album.
It’s Only Me was initially projected to become Baby’s second consecutive number one solo album, as that is now the case. According to Chart Data, Baby is debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, with an impressive 213,000 units solid, in this album’s first week. Bad Bunny is right behind Baby on the chart, as he’s also been extremely dominant in 2022.
It’s Only Me also becomes Baby’s third straight number one album, overall. In the summer of 2021, he released the joint album “The Voice Of The Heroes,” with Lil Durk.
In a new interview with Apple Music, Baby also revealed that he isn’t planning to put out a deluxe edition for It’s Only Me. Instead, he will be working on his next studio album.
