Lil Baby had the highest-selling album, of 2020, with “My Turn,” at 2.6 million copies sold

Back in 2017, Lil Baby was one of a few rappers buzzing, from Atlanta. He signed with QC, but ended up getting a co-sign from Drake, which changed everything. That, alone, took him from a regional talent to a superstar.
Lil Baby has done nothing but drop hits, since 2017. His run is leading to comparisons to Lil Wayne, arguably the greatest rapper of the previous era. In this era, Lil Baby is making moves to become king.
In 2020, Lil Baby stood at the forefront, of the Black Lives Matter movement, dropping “The Bigger Picture,” to critical acclaim. The song propelled My Turn to the top of the album charts, on Billboard. It also helped Lil Baby secure 2020’s top spot, with the highest-selling album, at 2.6 million copies sold.
