Lil Baby goes platinum with “It’s Only Me” album
Lil Baby continues to be one of the most dominant artists in the industry, as has been the case, since 2018. Last fall, he went on to release his third studio album, “It’s Only Me.” This went on to become his third straight number one overall album.
It’s Only Me went on to receive plenty of praise, as it was led by singles such as “In A Minute” and “Heyy.” 23 songs were available in total, including collaborations with Young Thug, Future, Nardo Wick, Fridayy, Pooh Shiesty, EST Gee, Jeremih, and more.
However, It’s Only Me has reached another major milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now sold over 1 million units in the US. This now makes it eligible for platinum eligibility.
Baby also recently took to social media to reveal that new music is on the way. This comes after he recently performed on “Saturday Night Live,” on January 29. Baby performed “California Breeze” and “Forever,” which have since become two more fan favorites from the It’s Only Me album. That night also featured “Creed” actor Michael B. Jordan hosting.
