Lil Baby receives his own day in Atlanta

Over the past five years, Lil Baby has established himself as one of the hottest artists in the industry. He initially signed to Quality Control Music, and went viral in 2017. Since then, he’s released some of the hottest mixtapes and albums in the industry.

Last month, Baby went on to release his third studio album, “It’s Only Me.” That went on to become his second straight solo studio album, and his third straight number one, overall. This project contained 23 tracks, as it was led by singles such as “In A Minute” and “Heyy.” Baby also collaborated with Young Thug, Future, Jeremih, Pooh Shiesty, and more. This came over a year and a half after he scored a number one album, which was a joint project with Lil Durk, “The Voice Of The Heroes.”

However, Baby was also honored in his hometown of Atlanta, on Sunday. He received his own day, as November 13 is Dominique “Lil Baby” Jones Day. Baby went on to post photos of himself receiving this proclamation, from the Atlanta City Council. He also launched his “For The People” Foundation.
