Lil Baby goes platinum with “It’s Only Me” album

Last fall, Lil Baby finally released his highly anticipated sophomore album, ”It’s Only Me.” This project contained 23 new songs, and led by singles such as “Heyy” and “In A Minute.” Baby also collaborated with Future, Jeremih, Young Thug, Fridayy, Pooh Shiesty, and more.

As a result, It’s Only Me became Baby’s third straight overall number one album. Therefore, it has now also reached another major milestone. It’s Only Me has now been certified platinum in the US, according to Chart Data. This comes after selling over 1 million units.

Meanwhile, Baby has also been rumored to be recording a joint album with Drake. Neither have confirmed this to be true yet, but fans are already asking for this possible collaboration. Baby’s last joint album came in the summer of 2021, which was “The Voice Of The Heroes,” with Lil Durk. That went on to easily debut at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, in the US.

Baby also trended last week, after showing up to an Atlanta Hawks game with Jayda Cheaves. As a result, many online began to believe that the two reconciled and are a couple again. The two share one child together.
