Lil Baby’s “My Turn” is Still Dominating in 2021, As It Was Named Hip-Hop Album of The Year at 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Lil Baby was arguably the hottest rapper of 2020 as he released his sophomore album, “My Turn.” This was led by smash hits such as “Woah,” “Sum 2 Prove,” and “We Paid” feat. 42 Dugg, which was on the My Turn deluxe. My Turn originally debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

On Thursday night, My Turn continued to maintain its momentum at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles. There, the album won the award for Hip-Hop Album of the Year. Currently, My Turn is 3x platinum in the US.

My Turn contained 27 tracks in total with additional appearances by Gunna, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert Future, and more. Baby initially announced in December 2019 that this album would be on the way soon, and he delivered and met expectations.

Next week, Baby is on his way to another huge week. Then, he will be releasing the collab album, “Voice Of The Heroes,” with Lil Durk. The two have collaborated frequently over the past year such as on Durk’s “3 Headed Goat” single, which also included Polo G. Last month, Baby and Durk were also on DJ Khaled’s “Every Chance I Get” song from the “Khaled Khaled” album.
