Lil Baby has been one of the biggest artists in the world over the past year. That all started with his second album, “My Turn,” which was released on the last day of February last year. The 1-year anniversary is here and as the Atlanta rapper celebrates, he is adding another huge milestone for the album.

My Turn” is now 3x platinum in the US. This is after selling 3 million units. The lead singles for the album heading into its release were “Woah” and “Sum 2 Prove,” both of which have achieved multi-platinum status. Other hit singles were “Emotionally Scarred,” “All In,” and “We Paid” feat. 42 Dugg.

My Turn originally debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart a week after its release. It was able to beat out Bad Bunny’s  “YHLQMDLG.” While My Turn is shockingly not Grammy-nominated this month, “The Bigger Picture” is. This single was released in June in the midst of nationwide protests against racism and police brutality in the aftermath of the George Floyd murder in Minneapolis. This record is in the categories of Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.

Currently, “My Turn” stands at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 chart. While its success hasn’t slowed down at all, Baby said at the end of 2020 that he’s preparing a new album, which fans have no problem with at all.
