Lil Cam’s attorney denies that Cam was involved in shooting of Takeoff, after latest arrest for firearm

Lil Cam’s attorney denies Cam involvement in Takeoff shooting

Over the last several weeks, 22-year-old Cameron Joshua, aka Lil Cam, has been suspected of being the one who shot and killed Takeoff, last month. This was outside of a Houston bowling alley, after Quavo got into an argument with a group of men. That led to 10 shots being fired, and Takeoff accidentally being hit in the torso and head.

Cam is suspected of being armed that night, but hasn’t officially been confirmed to have been who shot Takeoff. Wednesday saw Cam appear in court, as charges of two counts of felon with a weapon.

Christopher Downey and prosecutors emphasized that Cam isn’t the one who’s linked to Takeoff’s murder, though. However, prosecutor, Matt Gilliam, stated that Cam is still being investigated into killing Takeoff. But, Attorney Downey firmly states that his client wasn’t involved at all.

“Cameron Joshua did not shoot Takeoff. He wants to get out. He wants to clear his name.”

Takeoff’s funeral went on to be held in his hometown of Atlanta, at State Farm Arena. Quavo, Offset, Takeoff’s mother, Drake, and others spoke. Justin Bieber and Chloe Bailey were also among the performers.
