A year and a half ago, Lil Durk was making the transition from rapper to executive. He had his flagship artist, King Von, who was quickly taking over the game. As soon as he hit his stride, the Chicago rapper was killed in Atlanta.

Lil Durk stepped up, for the sake of his OTF label, upon the death of King Von. Meanwhile, Quando Rondo had rumored involvement in the murder. Since then, NBA Youngboy has spoke about the situation.

NBA Youngboy dropped his single, “Bring The Hook,” where he mentioned O Block. Given his status in the game, and the loss of King Von, people close to him took offense. First, Von’s sister, Kayla B, called Youngboy out.

After Kayla B’s response, Lil Durk decided to speak out against NBA Youngboy. Durk has become one of the top five rappers in the game, in terms of popularity, and streaming numbers. In typical Durk fashion, he had stacks of cash around him. But, he had a portrait of King Von, along with him quoting Kayla B, who tweeted “don’t claim it if you didn’t do it,” in response to Youngboy’s single.
