Lil Durk denies rumor that he’s featuring Pete Davidson, on upcoming “7220” album

Lil Durk denies rumor that Pete Davidson will be on “7220”

Earlier this week, Lil Durk announced that his upcoming seventh studio album, “7220,” wouldn’t released on its planned February 22 date. Instead, it is set for a March 11 release. On the same night though, Durk put out his new “Ah Haaa” single.”

There has also been a rumor that has spread, that Durk wants to feature Pete Davidson, on 7220. Durk eventually took to his Instagram stories on Thursday, to debunk this rumor. The Chicago rapper emphasized that he wouldn’t do that to Kanye West, and even wants to make a collab album with Ye.

As many know, Kanye has been beefing with Pete on Instagram this month, as he’s still salty that the “SNL” star is dating his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. Kanye has been calling Pete “Skete,” and even dissed him on his new “Eazy” single, ft. The Game, on the lyrics “God saved me from that crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.”

“This a lie I don’t even play like that,” Durk explained. “Plus Ye want to do a album together.”

Earlier this month, Durk initially planned to release 7220 on the same day as Kanye’s “Donda 2” album. Kanye didn’t end up releasing that album as planned on that date, but did put out four new songs, on his Stem Player platform. That is the only place that fans will be able to stream Donda 2.

In 2021, Durk scored the first album of his career, with “The Voice Of The Heroes.” This was a collab project with Lil Baby, as the two have scored multiple hit records together. 7220 will be Durk’s third album since December 2020, as at that time, he released his “The Voice” album, which debuted at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart.
