Lil Durk recently hospitalized for severe dehydration and exhaustion
Lil Durk reportedly recently ran into some brief health issues, a week ago. According to TMZ, the Chicago rapper was hospitalized due to experiencing severe dehydration and exhaustion. Furthermore, Durk checked himself into a hospital on July 6, while he was in Ohio.
As a result, Durk wasn’t able to perform at several scheduled performances in Europe. As a result, he also wasn’t able to make an appearance at the ESPYs in Los Angeles, on Wednesday night.
“My fans mean everything to me, you’re the reason why I do this,” said Durk in a statement to TMZ. “I was looking forward to touching all of my European fans, performing this week(end), attending the ESPYs and more but after performing and traveling daily I’ve become severely dehydrated and advised by my doctors not to travel due to exhaustion. Once I get my full energy back, it’s back to business which I’m looking forward to. #StillHealing.”
Meanwhile, Durk still hasn’t been cleared by doctors to perform yet. This all comes after he saw massive success with his new “Almost Healed” album, in May. That project went on to debut at number three on the Billboard 200 chart. That was led by his “All My Life” single, featuring J. Cole.
