Lil Durk took two years to create “All My Life” single with J. Cole
Lil Durk currently has the biggest record of his career, with “All My Life.” This was released last month, which included a massive feature from J. Cole. The two teased the collaboration since April, when Durk initially revealed plans for Cole to appear on a song, while at Cole’s Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, NC.
As a result, All My Life went on to debut at number four in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Furthermore, the music video for it was also released, as many children were included in the visuals.
Meanwhile, Durk recently spoke on the process of putting All My Life together. In a new interview with Nadeska of Apple Music, he revealed that it took two years to choose All My Life. Durk explained how he didn’t want to rush it, and knew that he had to take his time in working with a legend like J. Cole.
Furthermore, All My Life went on to appear on Durk’s new eighth studio album, “Almost Healed,” in late May. That debuted at number three in the US, and contained additional collaborations with Future, Morgan Wallen, and more.
